Bhagwantjit
Born in Ludhiana, Punjab Bhagwantjit found his passion within the performing arts at an early age. His interest in singing began during his childhood where he regularly performed at school events. After his completion of higher secondary education he joined the Government College of arts and crafts in Chandigarh (India).

His late father S.Mohan Singh was vital in his development and understanding of music. He encouraged him to acquire a suitable knowledge of Ragas which he learned from his first Guru Professor Rana Ji (Sahnewal, Ldh). Whilst studying in the city of Chandigarh, his musical knowledge was ever growing as he obtained valuable information from Mr Virender Bachan and H.M Singh which significantly helped to build his confidence. Following on from this period Bhagwantjit then progressed onto performances at live local shows in his newly found country, (Scotland). At this stage he had built up a small fan base and a buzz had begun circulating.

Bhagwantjit then came to meet music producer Surinder Bachan in 2004. Previous to this meeting, Surinder Bachan had already produced 2000 albums including production for Surjit Bindrakhia, Babbu Maan and Gurdas Maan as well as production for 2 dozen Punjabi movies. Surinder Bachan was significantly taken back by how well Bhagwantjit sang and performed. The two individuals then joined forces and decided to create an album. The album itself was recorded within the UK as well as studios within India. After its completion, Surinder Bachan traveled back to India after completing his first production with a UK album.

Bhagwantjit was then left with an album that had yet to be distributed. Thankfully he met Vips of VIP Records. Vips praised the work of Bhagwantjit after hearing the album and took it upon himself to make Bhagwantjit a further addition to the V.I.P camp by signing him. As of now the album has been released under VIP Records as well as a video release of Bhagwantjits first single, Surajmukhi.
