Young Hemi the latest addition to the VIP Records camp, a young and vibrant rapper hailing from Manchester UK, who began rapping at the tender age of 12 in his bedroom and has now collaborated with UK’s most talked about music producer, DJ Surinder Rattan.

‘Dil Kure’ is the first single taken from the forthcoming E.P by Young Hemi, is sure to be the next dancefloor banger and will get everyone on their feet. The E.P, which has been produced by DJ Surinder Rattan, features a whole host of talented vocalists, including the likes of Ranjit Mani, Manak-E & Surinder Shinda.

20-year-old Young Hemi hopes to bring a new sound to the Asian Music Scene and wants to showcase his talent lyrically and on stage around the world. Having attended University, he completed his education and began to work in order to save enough to start his dream as a fresh new rapper; this dedication is what will make Young Hemi stand out from the rest. Ali Romeo, the newest member of the VIP Records camp, is an artist with a unique voice who is set to make his mark in the Asian Music Industry. Ali’s debut single ‘Mahi’ features the production of Jinx, who have many hits under their belt including ‘Punjab Nachda’, ‘Rang’, ‘Dil Da Jaani’ and the global hit ‘Gal Sun’ and like their previous hits, Jinx are sure to add their magic to ‘Mahi’.  The track also features the talented Ria Reine, a female rapper who is also signed to VIP Records.

DJ’ing from the tender age of 14 gave DJ Raj the exposure he required in order to display his determination and abilities to entertain, he picked up what he describes as the ‘secret’ to his performances; excellent crowd judgement. If you are performing in front of thousands of people, you need to gain an understanding of what drives them to get on the dance floor; DJ Raj has excelled in this department. After mastering this, it was only natural to progress onto music production, if you know what drives people, why not give them what they want.

Twins Beats are back after a space of 3 years with their brand new track entitled ‘Lok Boliyan’ featuring the dynamite vocals of Saini Surinder. After the success of their debut album, ‘The Sounds of Punjab’, which released in 2009, Twin Beats have been busy developing their sound and are now ready to unleash their new beats and ideas starting off with ‘Lok Boliyan’, their latest offering for 2013.

VIP Records are proud to present the brand new album by internationally renowned vocalist Nirmal Sidhu. Drama Queen ft Daljit Mattu

Following the success of former BBC Asian Download Chart toppers “Milky” and “Punjabi Hurrr”, VIP Records is set to release Bups Saggu’s next single entitled “Drama Queen” on the 13^th of December, 2012. “Drama Queen” is the third single from Saggu’s forthcoming album Global, which is scheduled for release in January 2013. “Drama Queen” will be available for purchase from all trusted online retailers on the 13^th of December, 2012 with the video releasing shortly after.

“Drama Queen” offers Saggu’s signature creativity; an upbeat musical production, original and catchy lyrics, and an engaging video which showcases Saggu’s commitment to producing a quality and timeless musical experience. “To me, this track is a continuation of ‘Matha Tekhiya’ from my first solo album, Redefined,” explains Saggu, “it’s meant to be taken lightheartedly and depicts some stereotypical, yet exaggerated, scenarios that men may experience in their relationships.”

The track is written by Saggu with contributions from Tari Banwalipuria and features Daljit Mattu on vocals. When asked about the decision to use Mattu, Saggu insists that “Mattu’s voice has a raw, cheeky, and powerful sound which is needed to convey the appropriate attitude of the track and it fits with the playful style of banter that I envisioned for the song.”

The album will feature two versions of this track, one as a straightforward play and the other as an extended edit with skits that set the scene for the upcoming verse. “Drama Queen” guarantees to get both the ladies and gents up on the dance floor with its rhythmic beat and action-fueling lyrics.

From a wife arguing without a cause to watching Star Plus all day, Saggu’s track provides the definition of an Asian Drama Queen.
