PR and Marketing Executive VIP Records are currently recruiting for an Internet Promotions Executive. You will assist on profile and media management to enhance the already excellent reputation of the UK's number 1 Asian music record label. Working closely with the PR Manager, you will be responsible for media liaison, Internet promotion (Facebook & Myspace), organising interviews, submission of articles, media releases and tracking of PR coverage. The candidate will be responsible for liaising with event promoters and popular Asian magazines including Radio and TV channels. The ideal candidate for the above role must have the following skills and experience: - Demonstrable experience in PR and Communications - Ability to carry out basic research - Ability to work without direct supervision and use initiative - Ability to work collaboratively as a team and with colleagues - Excellent written and oral skills - Attention to detail with the ability to produce high quality written material - Excellent keyboard and ICT skills. Experience of the Internet and e-mail (Outlook) - A vast knowledge of Facebook and Myspace. Understanding of Facebook fan pages, groups and events.
